BILL RHOADES
When I first met Bill Rhoades, he told me that he had originally been inspired to play harmonica by Brian Jones of the original Rolling Stones. I told him I had first been inspired to play guitar by the same man. The first song he sat in on was "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow?" - which Terry described to him as a "really weird version". Of course to me it wasn't weird at all, but made perfect sense. Bill turned it into a hoedown jam session, and blew his heart out. I've played this tune for several people and NO ONE recognizes the Rolling Stones song except me, and maybe Bill.
