Andrew Stranglen
I first "met" Andrew on the internet. His alias at the time was "Lectrikdog", an intriguing choice to say the least.
We were both members of a discussion group that centered on legendary musician John Fahey.
We gradually became better friends, and traded recordings.
When I became aware of Andrew's interest in recorded train sounds, I asked if he would like to collaborate on such a track. The resulting "Hidden Train Track" is what we ultimately came up with.
We each took some liberties with our instruments - me on guitar, and "Anj" on trains.
Things really starting chugging along when Bill Rhoades joined the party on harmonica. I believe there is a federal law requiring harmonica
on any train-related song.
